This easy banana milkshake is my go-to drink for my family, especially my children, if they are not having a great appetite for lunch. My children call this ‘mommy shake’. It will fill them up and keeps them going for the afternoon. You only need a blender, preferably with an ice crunch function. If you don’t have an ice crunch function on your blender, don’t worry… you can always add the ice cubes after you have blended the shake.
I have been using this recipe for years and you can’t go wrong with it. It’s a great basis for smoothies as well. You can add your favorite fruits and mix it all together. It’s also fun and easy to experiment with. I sometimes add avocado to it as well. Delicious, if you like avocado.
